Marnie Ramsey who has delivered 5 Confidence Workshops with Gary Heads, from True Potential started her long awaited maternity leave in February. DET wishes her all the best with her newborn baby.The Confidence Workshops will continue through 2008 and the first one will start 7th April at Consett Business Park. The focus will remain on the following key areas;

Confidence & Self Esteem, Assertiveness, Negative Beliefs & Positive Thinking, and Goal Setting. Gary will be taking the lead.

 Feedback from the last workshop was as good as ever;

“It was a very good course, which I have enjoyed taking part in and I feel a lot better in myself and I am a lot more positive. I have also met new friends.”

“I nearly did not attend the course due to no confidence. It was the best thing I could have done. My whole life has improved.”

“I enjoyed the course, it helped in a lot of ways with confidence, self-esteem etc.”

“I have really enjoyed the course and I have learned a lot and had my mind opened up. I’ve met some really lovely people who have had the same problems as myself. I would recommend the course to anyone.”

“I have found the course useful. It has made me think about my life and the things I need to change. It has made me feel more motivated and I realise that only I can make my life better.”

“My self-esteem is now definitely higher than it was and I feel that I’ve now learnt that I am assertive and have the confidence to use my new skills to get on with my life. I feel ready to tackle my life again with a positive outlook!”

Andrea Smith who attended one of the courses is now on the Support Team at Derwentside Council and felt that the Workshop gave her a new perspective on life “I began to have a more positive outlook which gave me confidence in my abilities, Gary said to me ‘Failure lies not in falling down, failure lies in not getting up’ I found that quote really inspiring.
