It’s not always easy for people to get around Derwentside, and sometimes it can be the deciding factor when choosing a job. “Getting into Work” provides a taxed and fully insured Honda CG125cc motorcycle for 3 months when starting work.

Rebecca started as a Mechanic Apprentice but is currently on reduced hours until she takes delivery of her bike “It was really easy to apply for and will enable me to fulfil my full contract”, she added “The scheme increases my career options as public transport is limited in Burnhope where I live”

Taking Stock! Stewart Whyte from the Green Corridor area of Stanley works part time in the Warehouse at Wilkinson’s’ unloading wagons and taking in deliveries, it’s a far cry from his management position in the finance industry but happiness comes in small packages and Stewart is certainly a happier man these days.
