Having your Say

12 March 2008

The 2nd get together of the Derwentside Employment Team Customer Focus Group took place in the Stables at Gibside Chapel, Burnopfield on 3rd November last year.

The members of the group were asked to provide feedback on our current marketing and advertising activity, and make recommendations on how to better inform those who would benefit the most. Topics discussed included; the customer experience during mandatory medicals (Personal Capabilities Assessment), employer perceptions and application forms, events and advertising.

The main aim of the group was to discuss Customer Service and Communications within Derwentside Employment Team and act upon the feedback given to improve the level of service and the information for the customer.

“It was a relaxed atmosphere and everyone had a chance to have their say”

“The points that were discussed were relevant and it was good to have feedback on points that were raised in previous meetings.”

The last meeting was held on March 8th, Beamish Hall, feedback will be available in the next edition of “Better Life”.
