Applying for jobs can be very daunting and competing with people who are already employed can be difficult. DET have therefore scheduled small workshops throughout the year to help our customers have the best chance possible of getting the job they really want.
Angeline Brown, from DET, will be delivering the workshops along with Derwentside Training, “Many of our customers are ready to return to work but still don’t have enough confidence to sell themselves when they are applying for jobs” Angeline added “These workshops are designed to both empower our customers during any recruitment process but also to make them aware of when they need to ask for help”.
The 2 day workshops which will include how to complete the perfect application form, create the best CV, and get the most out of interviews will run throughout the year. Dates will be posted on our website shortly.
